Fog & Lockdown

Its the 27th May 2020 and we are in this surreal time of lockdown due to Covid.

Picture the scene, Jenna & I are sat on Trevone Beach waiting for the fog to clear so we can do our photoshoot. It's early in the morning and the weather has been so fantastic recently we say it wont take long to clear. But the scene is spookily surreal to reflect these doomed times! There is practically no one on the beach due to the lockdown and there is a haunting gloom of fog looming! Then we wait an hour and agree to do some test shoots and hope tomorrow is better. Same time/place the next day and its a different picture - super sunny, quiet and an ideal time for photos. And there’s hardly anyone around due to lockdown apart from a local man in bright pink shorts who then decides to take a dip and inadvertently photo booms our pic!

"So a Mum with hands on hips watching her children also inadvertently photo bombs our pic and sets Jenna off laughing!"

Then we get a series of mums with kids who decide to take their pitch in our shot (clearly breaking all of the lockdown rules – these 3 sets of family clearly don’t live in the same household!!) So a Mum with hands on hips watching her children also inadvertently photo bombs our pic and sets Jenna off laughing! See the attached clip, I have cropped the Lady out! Then a group of locals decide we must be the local entertainment and gather to watch us as our audience! Anyway is was a laugh, and I have never seen Trevone Beach so quiet in May, especially with the spectacular weather, so we made the most of it (with social distancing of course!) and a big shout out and thank you to my gorgeous cousin “Jenna” who made my bags look so good.
